The FOD Prevention Plan Template
Your FOD Prevention Program will ultimately take shape through a combination of rules and regulations, documented procedures, and specific people that are made responsible for its’ success. These policies, procedures, and personnel should be recorded in a document called The FOD Prevention Plan. Below is an excellent program template that can be used for this purpose.
Remember to keep your company’s FOD Prevention Plan up to date by making changes as needed. FOD Prevention Plans may be used for succession planning or for internal/external auditors to assess an area’s compliance with your organization’s FOD prevention objectives. The FOD plan should be available to anyone who is impacted by the policies that it contains. Changes made to it should only occur with the approval of the FOD Program Manager.
