Even your clothing can cause problems, so periodically check its condition. Buttons can fall off. Zippers can break off. String ties can tear off.
In FOD Critical areas, consider wearing a specially-designed jumpsuit or “FOD Suit” that substitutes Velcro and elastic for buttons, zippers and strings.
