About the Role
The F.O.D. Control Corporation is looking for a driven Regional Sales Representative to help us grow our footprint in the aviation, military, and industrial markets. You’ll own a territory, build relationships with facility managers, operations directors, and procurement teams, and bring the FOD-Razor® and TracSweep® product lines to organizations that need them.
We’re a small company with a big reputation — our equipment is trusted by over 1,000 facilities worldwide, from major international airports to U.S. military bases to NASCAR tracks. You’ll be selling a product that genuinely matters and that customers are actively seeking out.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and grow a regional sales territory (airports, military installations, motorsport venues, industrial facilities)
- Prospect and qualify new leads through outbound outreach, trade shows, and inbound inquiries
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations — both virtual and on-site
- Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and procurement contacts
- Prepare and deliver proposals, quotes, and RFP/RFQ responses
- Work closely with our operations team to ensure smooth order fulfillment
- Track pipeline activity and report on territory performance
- Represent FOD Control at industry trade shows and conferences (2–4 per year)
What We’re Looking For
- 3–5 years of B2B sales experience, ideally in capital equipment, industrial products, or aviation/aerospace
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota
- Strong prospecting skills — comfortable with cold outreach, networking, and building a pipeline
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
- Self-starter who thrives in a lean, fast-moving environment
- Willingness to travel within your territory (approximately 10–25%)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required — results matter more than credentials
Bonus Points
- Military experience with FOD prevention responsibilities — especially former FOD monitors, FOD prevention officers, or anyone who managed FOD programs for an air unit (Air Force, Navy, Marines, etc.)
- Experience selling to airports, airlines, FBOs, or military/government buyers
- Familiarity with government procurement processes (GSA, SAM.gov, sole-source)
- Existing relationships in the aviation safety or airfield maintenance community
- CRM proficiency (we use Salesforce + SalesLoft)
What We Offer
- Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission
- Paid time off and holidays
- Remote-friendly — work from your home office with territory travel
- Company-provided tools: laptop, CRM access, marketing collateral
- The chance to sell a product that literally keeps people safe
