POWER BAR Magnetic Sweepers

Aeroprobe Tool Finder System

The Trey - Small Parts Organizers

POWER BAR Magnetic Sweepers

Customer Comments:
"The magnet bar works exactly as we hoped it would. We primarily use the device (attached to a Kawasaki Mule) around the area we offload cargo from semi-trailers. Often, the shipper will block/brace the cargo with wood to prevent shifting/movement. In the aftermath of offloading the cargo, we find nails on the ground in the vicinity. Each time I walked through the off-loading area, I made it a point to pick up a nail. Every day, I had found at least one nail (or piece of metal that could damage a tire) as I passed through. I have not found a stray nail on the ground in over three weeks.

We have no way to track how many of these stray nails had left our compound inside a tire; so I cannot put a cost-saving amount we save our customers by utilizing the magnetic bar. We, in turn, save money when the shipper does not have to raise rates to cover the cost of roadside tire repair. In the end, our customers are the American people; I feel that we are able to save tax payers money because of your product."

"In our flying unit's Midwest location, FOD concerns are typically compounded during winter operations. The need to remove ice from the ramp drives us to a half nylon/half steel broom to effectively clean the pavement surfaces after snow removal, simultaneously reducing the FOD potential caused from migrating bristles. We use vehicle mounted magnets to pick up the bristles after sweeping and find that by including hand magnets we can clean well into the grass on FOD walks. And we are able to clean the ramp edges and continue to remove the bristles that lawn mowing equipment/high winds tend to throw back onto the ramp and around the edges. The hand magnets do not require any special packaging for transport and fall well within the gauss emission requirements to transport via airlift enabling their use deployed."

"Gary, This product is fantastic! There has been a drastic positive impact on our production and a major decrease in lost/wasted man hours. Prior to receiving your power magnet sweeper, all the lost/missing tools and parts had to be found by sight. It was an "all hands" effort which took our Marines away from their primary missions. It had a less than perfect success rate. Since the incorporation of the magnetic sweeper minimal personnel are used. Our less than perfect recovery success rate has changed to 100% recovery to date. The postive recovery of lost/missing tools prompted the base to purchase Power Bar sweeper magnets for all the fighter and support squadrons. Thanks again for sticking with and bearing the time to get thru the supply system. It was well worth the effort. There has been 'NO FOD INCIDENTS' within my squadron since the adoption of your product."

Aeroprobe Tool Finder System
Customer Comments:
"An FA-18 aircraft was transferred to a new location and it's paperwork indicated an extensive but unsuccessful search had been conducted for a possible missing tool. The crew at the new location used the Aeroprobe and the tool was located within 10 minutes. (Note: Many tools have enough of an internal residual field, without even being activated, to be detected by the Aeroprobe.)"

"At the end of a day shift tool inventory was performed and it was determined that a four inch Phillips head screwdriver was missing. Flightline maintenance had been performed on a number of aircraft that day, so all personnel were required to participate in a standard misplaced tool search. After a short time the maintenance officer directed a team to use the Aeroprobe Tool Finder. With it they located the tool, hidden from sight behind the "Z" bar inside the engine bay door on an F404 engine, in just five minutes! The estimated cost avoidance to the engine was $2.5 million dollars."

The Trey - Small Parts Organizers
Customer Comments:
"The FOD (parts trays) boxes that we ordered from your company are very handy and useful. We use them as hardware and small parts storage for transportation out to the work areas, i. e. Cherry Max rivets, HUCK rivets, solid A.D. rivets, monel rivets etc. Each bin is identified as a given size for that range of rivets kept in any one tray. Example: one tray is labeled Cherry Max and it contains eight different lengths of that particular size rivet, 4-2 to 4-9. In the Electrical/Avionics side, we have small screws, nuts and washers, small grommets, wire splices and crimps etc. in those and in the Mechanical side they will have common hardware assorted in those trays. This very time saving device assists our mechanics by allowing them to have the necessary hardware on hand, at the site, with spill control so that no mishaps occur that could create a FOD situation. There is a given amount of hardware in the trays, which makes it easy to keep track of. Mechanics no longer waste valuable time by making trips to the hardware bins each time they need a different size or style of hardware needed to complete a task."

"One Trey was issued to each mechanic to organize and control common hardware items for everyday use like washers & cotter pins. The balance of the treys were used in our portable bench stock cabinets and really worked well in preventing the parts from getting all mixed up during transport to and from annual training."
