FOD BOSS Rapid Response Sweeper

Customer Comments:
King Khalid AB"Today we received the new FOD BOSS, I had it up and running within 10 min. I have attached some pictures of the BOSS in action. After only 5 min of sweeping I took the pictures and included some of the items picked up. As you can see our flight line is horrible because the aircraft keep blowing rocks and junk onto the concrete. The airplanes bring in FOD with the cargo. We are the only ones who clean it up and the double wide really speeds things up. After dumping the Boss today there were about 50 nails, 20 belt clips, 10 washers and a bunch of nuts. There even was a padlock! Thank you for everything."

"Thanks for your follow up email with the current pricing. I usedthe FODBOSS when I was in the F-14 community and it saved millions of dollars in fodded engines. Once we got the FODBOSS, we did not have another fodded engine until we went to the ship. We did not have one at home base after that. So with that, I say thank you!
I appreciate your time and look forward to working with you on this purchase for my current squadron."

"We could not help but notice how the mat picks up even the smallest piece laying on the ground. You have an excellent product and it is definitely helping us win the war on FOD at Dover AFB; thanks again."

"The FOD Boss works great. I received it on the 7th of March I use it approximately 3 times a week. I initially was skeptical but after seeing the amount and size of the things it picks up I am 110% sold on it. It takes me 1 hour and 10 minutes to sweep our taxiway and empty parking spots. Thank you!"

"Truly enjoy using the FOD BOSS. It picked up much more than we had expected, to include screws, nails, safety wire, joint material and sand. It also picked large pieces of concrete which damage the blades of mobile sweepers."

City of Redding"Just wanted to let you know we received the duplex unit in fine shape and used it on our cargo ramp for the first time this morning. I thought you might want to see the photo of just a few of the items that were picked up on the first pass."

"Thank you for all of the information, the FOD BOSS works great. We did a sweep of the flightline and all the ECP's twice and it picked up tons of stones and some hardware as well. We are going to start implementing it to be used every week now. Thanks for everything."

AirTran Airways"Just some FOD Boss information: Our first FOD Boss units in Atlanta recently wore out. It's estimated that the unit acquired between 8,000-8,500 miles of usage picking up an estimated 32,000 lbs. of debris (Potential FOD). Calculations were based on 800 + days of usage, 10 miles per day and 40 lbs. per day of debris collected. We still believe in the FOD Boss and continue to use daily."

"I have the distinct pleasure of being the FOD Manager over at Balad AB in Iraq… we are putting about 50-60 miles a day on our FOD*BOSS sweepers (at 10 miles per hour)... the F-16 unit's tow them all day. So about 1500 to 2000 miles a month and about 9000 to 12000 miles in six months. We have 18 currently in use on base here and I would like to order like 20 of them… Anyway I will try to get as many as they will let me…"

"The first time we used the FOD BOSS we swept a total of seventeen miles and picked up one hundred sixty-four pounds of debris on our asphalt ramp. The next time, we used it right after a FOD walk by about fifty people. It took them right around forty-five minutes total time to get out there, do the FOD walk, and then get back to work. That's just about thirty-seven man-hours. The exact same area was then swept by one guy pulling the FOD BOSS. It took him about one hour. The people picked up around five pounds of FOD. The FOD BOSS picked up forty-four pounds of FOD. That's close to ten times the amount of debris in one-twentieth the man-hours."
Tennesse Air National Guard - Nashville

"We have been using the FOD BOSS for almost a year now. Four months since I took over this position and I must say that it works extremely well for us. I keep all metal and hard plastic FOD after every area is swept and bag and tag it. It has given me a good history of where we need to concentrate our efforts. Also it impresses our pilots and will be used as support to procure more FOD BOSS sweepers in the future."

POWER BAR Magnetic Sweepers
Customer Comments:
"In our flying unit's Midwest location, FOD concerns are typically compounded during winter operations. The need to remove ice from the ramp drives us to a half nylon/half steel broom to effectively clean the pavement surfaces after snow removal, simultaneously reducing the FOD potential caused from migrating bristles. We use vehicle mounted magnets to pick up the bristles after sweeping and find that by including hand magnets we can clean well into the grass on FOD walks. And we are able to clean the ramp edges and continue to remove the bristles that lawn mowing equipment/high winds tend to throw back onto the ramp and around the edges. The hand magnets do not require any special packaging for transport and fall well within the gauss emission requirements to transport via airlift enabling their use deployed."

"Gary, This product is fantastic! There has been a drastic positive impact on our production and a major decrease in lost/wasted man hours. Prior to receiving your power magnet sweeper, all the lost/missing tools and parts had to be found by sight. It was an "all hands" effort which took our Marines away from their primary missions. It had a less than perfect success rate. Since the incorporation of the magnetic sweeper minimal personnel are used. Our less than perfect recovery success rate has changed to 100% recovery to date. The postive recovery of lost/missing tools prompted the base to purchase Power Bar sweeper magnets for all the fighter and support squadrons. Thanks again for sticking with and bearing the time to get thru the supply system. It was well worth the effort. There has been 'NO FOD INCIDENTS' within my squadron since the adoption of your product."

Aeroprobe Tool Finder System
Customer Comments:
"An FA-18 aircraft was transferred to a new location and it's paperwork indicated an extensive but unsuccessful search had been conducted for a possible missing tool. The crew at the new location used the Aeroprobe and the tool was located within 10 minutes. (Note: Many tools have enough of an internal residual field, without even being activated, to be detected by the Aeroprobe.)"

"At the end of a day shift tool inventory was performed and it was determined that a four inch Phillips head screwdriver was missing. Flightline maintenance had been performed on a number of aircraft that day, so all personnel were required to participate in a standard misplaced tool search. After a short time the maintenance officer directed a team to use the Aeroprobe Tool Finder. With it they located the tool, hidden from sight behind the "Z" bar inside the engine bay door on an F404 engine, in just five minutes! The estimated cost avoidance to the engine was $2.5 million dollars."

The Trey - Small Parts Organizers
Customer Comments:
"The FOD (parts trays) boxes that we ordered from your company are very handy and useful. We use them as hardware and small parts storage for transportation out to the work areas, i. e. Cherry Max rivets, HUCK rivets, solid A.D. rivets, monel rivets etc. Each bin is identified as a given size for that range of rivets kept in any one tray. Example: one tray is labeled Cherry Max and it contains eight different lengths of that particular size rivet, 4-2 to 4-9. In the Electrical/Avionics side, we have small screws, nuts and washers, small grommets, wire splices and crimps etc. in those and in the Mechanical side they will have common hardware assorted in those trays. This very time saving device assists our mechanics by allowing them to have the necessary hardware on hand, at the site, with spill control so that no mishaps occur that could create a FOD situation. There is a given amount of hardware in the trays, which makes it easy to keep track of. Mechanics no longer waste valuable time by making trips to the hardware bins each time they need a different size or style of hardware needed to complete a task."
CCAD (Corpus Christi Army Depot)

"One Trey was issued to each mechanic to organize and control common hardware items for everyday use like washers & cotter pins. The balance of the treys were used in our portable bench stock cabinets and really worked well in preventing the parts from getting all mixed up during transport to and from annual training."
